Lindsay Donaldson and Liz Zamudio met while attending Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, California. During the last spring break before graduation, Zamudio, who is from South Bay, brought her friend down to San Diego and Donaldson fell in love with the area. After graduation, the two friends decided to go into business together and open a chiropractic practice.
